February 2005 Entries
Hello everyone. Just thought I'd write since I have not in a while. Things around the house are going pretty well. Houdini is doing great, just trying to get him housebroken is quite a chore. Work is doing well and of course Will is doing great a work. I am so amazed at the Gold Addy Award he recieved for his work on the Matthew FIne site. I think he is genius and it is nice for him to get recognition for his work and the hours he puts into it. AJ is also doing well, the calender system is...
I attended the 2005 Addy Awards last night (best of 2004). Most of us from Stratum attended, below are a few pictures of us. The theme was from the Wizard of Oz “Wizard of Ads” Walt, my Creative Director contributed the Addy Showbook cover, invitations, and email campaign artwork. I was introduced to alot of highly respected people thanks to Walt. ;) Oh.. and Sue Fay was there! ;)

Work seems to be going well. ;) You can thank Wally Torta for this one. I am trying not to take offense to the way he sees my nose job... Life goes on.
No time to do anything, I guess this is a good thing.. We got a new little doggy and named him Houdini. We set him down when we got home and he took off when we werent looking.. he must have been smooth because we looked for 10 minutes in that little apartment until we found him, hence his new name.. hehe He is 100% Beagle and loves his new home.. he is 10 weeks old.
If you didn't read my comment on the bottom chuckee cheese post, then you don't know that we decided to sell The little puppy pit bull, I put in ad in the newspaper and the 1st guy that called came and looked at him and bought him for his girlfriend that had the same look on her face when she saw him as Christy 1st did. I feel good knowing he will be just as loved as if we decided to keep him.
Even though we were probably irresponsible about the decision to get little Alex I feel we did the right...
Walt took this pic of me yesterday..
This post is a dissapointment.. I know
But anyways.. got a call on the puppy.. a guy is coming at 6pm to look at him and hopefully buy.
In other news, Christy got a new cell phone, she loves it (it has a camera and bluetooth, and it isnt a flip phone that she so desperately hates) this is what it looks like
Also Christy inquired about getting AJ's last name changed to KEOWN.. I'm ecstatic and am hopeful that this can go through before he starts his 1st year of school.
Here are some photos from yesterday (we went with Christy's friend Crystal and her kids and man) and a few photos from the day before with the doggy.
My co-worker / mentor Walt Taylor finally got his blog up! Anyways.. it's called Wally Torta because that is his other personality that takes no resposibilty for anything, so he assumes he can say anything he wants. Go check it out from time to time, he promises not to miss 1 day of updating. www.wallytorta.com (you will find the link avlb at all times in the right column) Walt has helped me see things in the creative world that would have taken me years to learn by myself. I respect his love for his work and the everyday passion he has for...
