Film producers spend a good deal of time and money making getting a fluent shot. Whether it is panning to a new scene or zooming in at the right time. After Effects has a limited 3d world but it is absolutely amazing what you can do with it in terms of placing your virtual video camera where you want it.

It looks cool but I was not trying for this effect. Still trying to get the hang of things.
There is absolutely no information or results performed on the quadro vs gaming cards so I went through the trouble.
I purchased 2 quadro fx 4500 video cards off of ebay for these tests.
Obviously the GTX 260 beats the evga 8800 GTS but the 8800 does the trick! The Quadro enhances nothing for my computing needs and bottle necks performance because of its dated components. ( Graphics workstation, mainly photoshop and after effects for now)
$200 for a used 4500 Quadro and $130 for a new 8800 GTS

Spent last weekend in San Francisco with beezwax and fmnexus.. Filemaker plugin software and consulting.
Also got to see Randy Hill, an old PenSoft co-worker. He is doing great since moving there 3 years ago. We had some drinks and he showed me around as much as he could for the 5 hours i had.

Horrible snap. But last wednesday Whit and I rode with a new group of riders. From wawa to hooters to the beach again. (The BP gas station on the strip) Live music was playing in neptune park. They were great. They sounded EXACTLY like the Eagles. The Eagles Tribute Band

Riding off-road motorcycles when i was younger has to be one of the largest repititious adrenaline rushes I have ever experienced in my life. I have recently rejuvinated that same spirit I had when I was younger by upgrading my Motorcycle. I sold my bike I have had for about a year now. On another note, AJ got call of Duty 4 and Command and Conquer 3 for xbox 360. He is in love with strategy and shoot em up type of games. We try our best not to let the xbox babysit but it is proving to be hard because he has so many freinds his age on xbox live. There is nothing in life like a little freindly competition to make you work a little harder for things.

Work has been very busy for me. But I love staying busy. Maybe its because I am so busy that it seems like weeks are days, or maybe its the fact that I am not 20 any more. I hear that it only gets worse with age. I hope this isnt true.

It is a kitty, we named him saba he is only like 7 weeks old. We decided that it would be best to wait on a little one until Credit Cards are payed off and we are financially/mentally ready. etc etc We are...
It used to be called Virginia Marine Science Museum but I guess they could'nt get enough funds or something or other to call themselves that.
They own the largest Aquarium in Virginia and have several different types of sharks inside of it.
We learned Sharks lose about 30,000 teeth in a lifetime (2,000) a year When they lose a tooth the next one is already grown and comes up much like a revolver puts a new bullet in the chamber.

Today we went to the Hunt Farm right down the street from our new house here in Virginia Beach. I will be posting photos of the new house before and after really soon. We are all moved in with about 15 unpacked boxes still floating around.
I have just recently been promoted at my job! WooHoo.. hard work actually does pay off. More on this later.

We took a trip down to North Carolina ( Coralla, NC Outer Banks )
Mandy's ( Jays wife as of today) parents rented 2 beach houses (pictures below are of the house Christy and I stayed in) It was beuatiful! I went in the hot tub, we went to the lighthouse down the street had ping pong tournaments with John, Christy's uncle. All of the kids were at our beach house which was 6 miles from the beach house they rented for the wedding.

AJ is a very lucky little boy, not only is the school brand spanking new but it is also technologically advanced. Dell Computers and Projectors in every classroom. A computer Lab to die for. And enthusiastic teachers. Computer Lab teacher 'These kids are creating high end power point presentations by 5th grade'
His Teacher is very outspoken and energetic. She really sounds like she loves the kids and knows how to communicate with them. How awesome is that? (Miss Walters)

I cant stop myself from wanting land. I really can't afford it right now but we went to look at 10 acres in North Carolina today. OMG I am so in love. AJ was running around interested in most simple things from the dragon flies and grass hoppers to his explorative side that made him pick up a stick and start to roam the land with it.I know I sound goofy but it reminds me of how great it was growing up in the middle of nowhere. Stress free. I believe there is a certain respect for life gained when you grow...
Christy AJ Freddy Walt and I watched fireworks from the top of the downtown norfolk parking garage across from my old work place at Stratum. It was great $5 to park and that was it.. not bugs no crowds in the way etc etc plus when it was over we got in the car and was home in 15 minutes. I will have to remember that trick for next year!

Christy has been taking birth control but something abnormal happened. We will have a new family member in 9 months! We havent been to the doctor yet but as you can see from the picture below it looks like there is going to be another William running around in this world..oh and another Christy.. hehe

I attended the 2005 Addy Awards last night (best of 2004). Most of us from Stratum attended, below are a few pictures of us. Work seems to be going well. ;) You can thank Wally Torta for this one. I am trying not to take offense to the way he sees my nose job... Life goes on.
No time to do anything, I guess this is a good thing.. We got a new little doggy and named him Houdini. We set him down when we got home and he took off when we werent looking.. he must have been smooth because we looked for 10 minutes in that little apartment until we found him, hence his new name.. hehe He is 100% Beagle and loves his new home.. he is 10 weeks old.

Also Christy inquired about getting AJ's last name changed to KEOWN.. I'm ecstatic and am hopeful that this can go through before he starts his 1st year of school.

AJ has been so good that mom offered to get him a kitty because there just isnt enough room here for a dog. We searched a good 4 hours for kittens yesterday and came home empty handed, we did find a beagle, but it was a mix and already bigger then a beagle at 4 months old (plus one of the kids while we were there said “he bites“)
Christy really wanted a little puppy so I looked in the paper because we really couldnt afford a pet store dog at 500 to 1k dollars.

We had a great time at Christy's parents house, excellent gravy! Melissa's parents were over and eventually my brother showed up. Freddy and J were there too.(Christy's brothers) We all got our hand singing kareoke, it was a good night.
Unfortunetely Christy has work today because it is one of Walmart's busiests days all season, so she left at like 5 am and daycare was not open yet, so Will has AJ today at work, Wlat and I are the only ones working today and he doesnt mind having the distraction around so it turned out to be a pretty good day.

This past weekend we attended an event that surrounded my building in downtown Norfolk, The Grand Illumination Parade. Much to my surprise, there were thousands of visitors, most of which spent most of the night trying to park.
The parade had band talent from schools all over the area and included numerous interesting lighted floats from a gecko to a chik fil a cow. AJ had a blast! Christy had fun and will survived his nose pain.
It is so beautiful in downtown Norfolk, very surprising actually compared to waht I always thought of it before working there.

I just recieved a letter from my insurance approving my nose reconstruction! YAY I will be able to breath again, just in case you didnt know, I had surgery when I was young (13) so I could breath better.. but it screwed up my nose.. the doctors say i was to young to have that kind of surgery is the reason it collapsed. I go in for surgery late November. I'll bet I talk differnt after I'ts done and I am healed! I am so excited.

Christy recieved a possible promotion today at Wal-Mart.. even though she always talks shit on her job.. I think it is a really great thing for her.. she will be getting a pay increase and she will be working in the photo lab.. where she can learn more about photo processing (she loves taking photos.. you will see soon to come)

Saturday we went apartment/home shopping for me in downtown norfolk / ghent, didn't go too bad... still looking though.
Sunday we went bowling in Chesapeake, Christy threw her 1st strike ever in here life... then she threw another one right after it!
AJ had a blast for his first time bowling.. kindly getting “wheels” ball every time it was my turn.
