I am not sure if many of you have heard of Geeks on Call, but they are a computer repair business that has their headquarters here locally.

The reason I mention this is because a family member is performing IT work for them. They recenlty aquired a contract to do all of SAM's Clubs computer repair since SAMs is now selling computers. They are doing very well and have hundreds of franchise owners across the United States that roll down the strret on their way to a computer repair in a PT Cruiser. They had a current campaign which rebranded 'Geeks on Call' to 1800 905 GEEK in an effort for customers to remember their phone number. Unfortuntely customers were not able to attach that name with the familiar 'Geeks On Call' name, so they are currently transitioning to a blend of the 2 names.

In an effort to offer computer repair opportunities to areas outside of their franchises, Geeks on Call recently started CALLtheGEEKS.com, the great thing about this is that they can fix your issue over the phone or internet for half the price of sending out a car. They can also service you if you live in Alaska in a remote setting.

So to all my family freinds, utilize callthegeeks.com for all your computer repair needs when we are not around to help! ;)

AJ and Cody got Nintendo DSs for Christmas.
Christy got me Guitar lessons. Yay!
I hope my arthritis agrees!

On another note, AJ got call of Duty 4 and Command and Conquer 3 for xbox 360. He is in love with strategy and shoot em up type of games. We try our best not to let the xbox babysit but it is proving to be hard because he has so many freinds his age on xbox live. There is nothing in life like a little freindly competition to make you work a little harder for things.

Here are some snaps of Christmas, I have alot to catch up on here so expect to see more photos soon.

I hope everyone else had a great Christmas. Grandma and Grandpa (Fred and Jody), Mom (Julie), Dad (Mike) and everyone else reading here!

This morning AJ was complaining about his first loose tooth. I was going to pull it with some pliers so he said "NO WAAAY DAD" and pulled it himself. See the video below. ;)

We go about once a month to feed the ducks. I need to track down the older pics but here are some pics from today, and a few pics of Saba our beautiiful bengal all grown up. ;)

And learned how to swim without his vest!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sniff sniff

Together, Jim and Melissa's brother taught him everything he knows!

Going for the catch!

We went to the zoo, sung karaoke, ate at the beach (The Raven) and watched fireworks in downtown Norfolk.

I think everyone had a great time!

Cody rode every ride. His favorite was the Boomerang... mine was the Mamba.
Sorry this is so short. I am pooped. Cody is a machine! Gnite.

June 29th I flew here to pick up Cody at Camp. (athletic day care) We went shopping for clothes against what he wanted. I tried to explain to him that he would get a lot of 'cool' presents from other family members. lol He wasn't to into it but loves the shoes! Yesterday I went to Becki's side of the family Birthday party at Kill Creek Park Shelter 1. I felt very out of place but it went better then I imagined it would. I met a couple of old friends. Cody got an Radio Sack Remote Controlled insect that flew, $130 bucks in cash, moon sand, cube worlds and other various toys.

Today the rain finally cleared up a little. Cody and I hung out at grandpa Mikes all day after spending some bday money at wal-mart (he got more cube worlds) He also spent $10 at a fireworks stand. We played foosball, told jokes, played football, mowed the lawn and grandpas cool z track mower and shot off fireworks. He had a blast as I did. ;)  Cody and AJ both ask me about each other as they were to peas in a pod when AJ and I last visited 2 months ago. It is very hard on me to explain this but I am confident that they know why they cant be brothers 24/7.

Tomorrow Cody gets to go to World of Fun in Kansas City Missouri. We are going to spend the entire last day together at Worlds of Fun. So that should be some good fun for us. ;)

On another note; I did not get to visit Grandpa Fred and Grandma Jody, they caught an upper respitory infection virus thingy ma bob, so we mutually agreed that we would visit them the next trip here in 2-3 months. My mom received historical rain gauging in at 15 - 20 inches. So she was very busy. Another mutual agreement that we will connect again next time.

All in all I am having a great time. I miss you Christy, AJ and SABA. I will be home Tuesday! ;)

Alot has happened since my last post so I will try to sum it up. The stuff I leave out will be sprinked throughout future postings.

I am no longer the Director of Information Technology at CI Travel. I reluctantly gave my 1 month notice in hopes of making a family dream come true. Chris and I have always had dreams that one day we would own a business. It looks like his hard work and dedication has finally afforded him the possibilty to make that dream come true. It is called cdyne Corporation. He has been working to make it succeed for nearly 10 years now. HE DID IT! He asked me to come join the team full time now instead of doing what I could at 10 years ago is on the walls at our business location. I am very excited to be in the position make a 'sure business model' even better. (PR and Graphics Guy)

Anyways enough about me... I will eventually post some photos of SABA all grown up and other occurences since my last post like our new hardwood floor downstairs(dupont laminate) and AJ in acton on the XBOX 360.

I am happy that I have my blog back! I am sure I will read this in years to come.. and so oh yeah.. I remember that! ;)

Work has been very busy for me. But I love staying busy. Maybe its because I am so busy that it seems like weeks are days, or maybe its the fact that I am not 20 any more. I hear that it only gets worse with age. I hope this isnt true.

Christy and I have a new family member!

It is a kitty, we named him saba he is only like 7 weeks old. We decided that it would be best to wait on a little one until Credit Cards are payed off  and we are financially/mentally ready. etc etc We are almost deciding not to do it again. It just seems like so much trouble.  I know I will look back on this and think damn I was a selfish prick. But what can I do. I need to make enough time for everyone. ;)  Plus I dont want to wait 20 more years to finally breath.

Christy decided that it would be a good idea to start a home centered child care business. Well not really a business, we learned if you want to watch more then 5 kids including your own, then it has to be a business in the state of Virginia. And I hear it is a real pain in the a$$ to get them to let you do it.  So we decided no more then 4 kids including AJ. We posted flyers around the area and put an ad in the newspaper both with different phone #'s. To make a long story short, the newspaper is the way to go even the the postings gave her leads. Christy is great with kids and I am very happy that we found something for her to do that brings home the bacon! ;) (because quite frankly If she were to get a job we would be spending atleast $400/month on child support)

AJ had his 1st soccer practice yesterday. Damn he is good. His footwork seems steps ahead of the other kids. I am proud to keep playing with him after work on various days. I think it has really helped him with his control.

Also Aj had his Birthday Party recently and you can see pictures of it PICS

Also here are some photos of the CI Travel Christmas Party PICS
